Kids Glow Run

We spent the evening at the Kids Glow Run, on base. They gave all the kids glow necklaces and sticks and had a half mile course for the little ones and a mile course for the older kids.

The girls ran a mile and Eva was amongst  the top few girls to finish in her age group.

It was a very fun evening!

Ella broke her arm- AGAIN!

Well, Ella broke her elbow again, opposite arm! This time she was messing around on the tramploline with friends.

That meant, no fun at Audrey's birthday party!

And another cast. She chose the same light blue color again.

Two months and two casts. Eva washed Ella's hair for her every night in the tub. Ella will have to remember that for paybacks!

Then I go outside and see Ella back up in the tree. I don't even know how she got up there! Leave it to Ella!

Friends

We have been so blessed with friends at Yokota. Everyday I see a sight like this out the kitchen window.

Deciding who's IT!

Kiki, Kylie Scalambrino and Jaden Arturet. Fellow homeschoolers.

Gracie and Kiah Poock.

Olivia and Izzy (Isabelle) Holland, our first Japanese friends.

Zach and Sienna Bell, our across the street neighbors.

Kiera Grimley, a very special friend, who is moving to Utah soon.

And the Kever kids, Tommy, Stanley, Molly and Audrey.

So very blessed indeed!

Friends come and go in the military life, but we are thankful everyday for the time we have, and the opportunity to know each and every friend.

Eva's odd tooth

Eva's first tooth was growing in directly behind her baby tooth. It took a LONG time for the baby tooth to come out.....

but, she pulled it out, all by herself, at the cherry blossom festival. She was so happy!

Ella breaks her arm

Well, Ella broke her arm in February of 2015. She was playing on the top of a slide and fell off. Given that Ella has always been a risk taker, I'm kind of surprised this was her first broken bone!

They first told us that it was not broken, but after further inspection from the specialist, we were called to come back in for the cast. There was a small crack near her elbow.

She wore this cast for 3 weeks and a splint for another 2 weeks.

Ella said that it was fun to show all her friends at first, but she tired of it very quickly, and was so happy to have it removed!

Eva turns 7

My beautiful Eva Mae turned 7 this year! I can't believe how fast the time goes. She is a very sweet, caring, and generous young lady. I can't wait to see what God has planned for her life.

We invited the girls best friend, Kiera to have cake with us in the evening.
